Have you ever fancied yourself as a wine connoisseur or do you just enjoy a nice glass of wine at the weekend? We need people passionate about wine, and not just drinking the stuff, selling it as well! Willoughby’s Wine Warehouse is a brand new retailer to the wine world, and we've currently got one store in Sale, Cheshire. Part of JW Lees, we’re looking to open 15-20 outlets in and around the Northwest over the next 5 years. Stocking over 700 wines offered for sale by the case, with a range of spirits, beers & minerals, with a free delivery service, within 10 miles of our store.

Our trainee manager roles are fantastic opportunities for experienced people to progress their career with a new and exciting development for JW Lees, in a challenging environment. Excellent, highly personal customer service skills are essential. Ideal for people who are interested, enthusiastic, and passionate about wine to take the first steps into a wine retailing career or progress your career in the wine world further. Successful candidates will be passionate and knowledgeable about wine and be a team player who thrive in a sales environment.

Principle skills include

• High standard of organisation
• Ability to plan & monitor sales/marketing strategies
• Providing the highest levels of personal customer service
• Relationship building with our customers
• Maintaining sales area presentation to the highest standard
• Telephone sales calling to personal & corporate customers
• Enthusiasm about our products

We offer competitive salaries, plus a target-based bonus, and as an extra bonus you’ll received a paid day off on your birthday! Flexibility will be required to cover opening hours including early evening, week-ends & bank holidays. You will receive on the job training, plus Wine & Spirit Education Trust courses if applicable.
