What is a JW Lees managed house?

Currently 35 of our 173 pubs are managed houses.
This means we the brewery have influence over how
the pub is run, and play a part in making key business decisions. Basically everyone who works in one of our managed houses is employed by JW Lees.

None of our managed houses are the same. We have stylish city centre bars, destination country pubs, pubs
at the heart of the community and some have hotel accommodation as well.

We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic and
inspiring General Managers, dedicated and hard-
working Assistant Managers, and talented and
creative Head Chefs.
