How do I get my personal licence?

Under the new Licensing Act of 2003, it is mandatory
for anyone operating or wishing to operate licenced
premises to be a Personal Licence Holder. So no
getting round it, if you want to run your own pub, you’ll need to get your Personal Licence sorted pronto. But remember, we’re here to help. Details of obtaining a Personal Licence are listed below, however should you require any clarification contact your local authority, or
contact us here at
JW Lees.

Step 1: Pass a one day course called the NCPLH

Step 2: Complete a form for a standard CRB check

Step 3: Complete a Personal Licence application form
